The only way to truely compare two programs is to adjust the AI slider so that the exact same number of AI aircraft are active in the visual AI Zone (125 mile radius of your airplane) and the exact same number of aircraft are displayed on the active airport.ģ5% in one program which displays 35 AI aircraft does not mean 50% with another program will display 50 AI aircraft. The commercial programs do use randomized flight plan settings - but they do not produce exact percentages due to the way AI flight plans work. So lowering the AI traffic slider has no impact on those flight plans/ packages. The AI slider only determines which AI flightplans will be used.įor example - many freeware AI flight plan writers use 1% for all their flight plans - thus at 1% or higher on the AI Traffic slider - 100% of the AI traffic will display. It only sets the threshold for the cut-off of the number of AI aircraft displayed.Įach AI flightplan from traditional programs like Traffic 360 and My Traffic has a % number. The slider DOES NOT control the percentage of AI aircraft displayed. The red ones below are marked for FS9/FSX MAIW_NBAI_Boeing F15E Seymour Johnson AFBĪs for me I had a few of these causing double entries. So move all the files out and do a few at a time. If you have moved all the MAIW aircraft into FSX, and you do not want multiple warnings best to move just a few at a time and then start FSX. Delete the folder with the least entries. Do a search and then compare both folders. When you encounter a warning for example one listing below of multiple entries. If you do encounters this problem, One is best to open two folders one being MAIW and the other Airplanes. If one has loaded any of these files below especially those below marked in red may have doubles when doing MAIW from Martin's site below. One has probably loaded more then one aircraft with the same names. If on starting FSX gets a warning " There are multiple objects with the same title name. Copy the extraction to another location then use the uninstall provided otherwise one may have remaining in uninstall programs. If one is installing these MAIW especially with self extraction programs one may want to do them one at a time. I hope a modified list wil be available shortly

Just other thing with copying from a pdf one may encounter problems in pasting into a text file(aircraft.cfg).

I guess to cut down work use your download path, one one may be moving files to correct locations One will encounter self extractors with a variety of paths listed. If one does do the installs always use C:\FS9 or what ever for the download path. One does need to be a member of AVSIM to download from that site. They have not yet uploaded to AVSIM as yet. Try this one FSX/FS9 Registry Repair Tool (36KB) įirst 6 top of list download from MAIW home site links below. Just one other thing the registry tool (fs9path_utility) does not work. Military AI programs for FSX conversion has been updated.
